My name is Danielle Amilicia I am an ACE certified person trainer and a NPC figure competitor.
I started training with Dave about 5 or 6 years ago to improve my softball game. I took his classes including extreme conditioning, plyometrics, speed and agility, core/stretch and even trained with him on the side when i could. After working with Dave i started to see massive improvements in my game. The only thing holding me back was my diet. I figured I workout about 5-6 times a week plus softball i can
bascially eat whatever I want… boy was i wrong! As the years passed I was losing the passion for softball. I realized i was in the gym more then on the field and I fell in love with fitness. About 2 years ago i quit softball and all i did was train and I ended up competing in a few big adventure races like the Warrior Dash, Rugged Maniac,
Brick 26 and Tough Mudder. I kept challanging myself with different races but I started to get bored with it. I loved seeing my body go through all these changes and i wanted to take it to the next level. Dave would always
watch these bodybuilding videos and one day I came across this one competitor Dana Linn Bailey. After the first video i watched I was inspired. Soon afer Dave decided to compete in a body building show. I was still debating on whether to compete in one or not. While Dave was going through his prep i decided to diet with him and I started to see changes in my body i couldn’t believe. When it came time for showtime
I watched and i was amazed by all these women’s physiques. I said to myself “I can totally do that” and decided to compete in my first bodybuilding show that year. I went into my first show thinking i would be dead last but i didnt care i kicked ass for 16 weeks and i just wanted to have fun. Never in my life have i ever been on stage in front of a huge crowd. I was always shy but through these weeks of prepping I grew to be more and more confident and stepping on that stage was a huge adrenaline rush. Suprisingly i came in 2nd place in my class i could not believe it! After this show I was hooked and I wanted to do it again. Even though your on stage for about 5 minutes it is all worth it. I had a full year to put on size before my next competiton. I learned that of season is very important.Yes you can have a few cheats here and there but I still trained hard, lifted heavy, I ate clean and I made sure I had those 6 meals a day every 3 hours for a whole year. This is a lifestyle now I never want to go back to the way i was before. I am now in prep for the same show 2nd time around and I am super excited with my progress (pictures to come). Thanks to Dave for being an awesome coach, trainer and inspiration of mine. When i first met Dave i was unconifdent, insecure, I was surrounded by a bad circle of friends and I had no idea what i was doing with my life. He has changed my life in so many ways and I am so greatful to have him as a boyfriend, coach and trainer. He inspired me to become a personal trainer and I am not studying to be an ace nutrition specialist so I can help my clients not only achieve there fitness goals but there nutrition goals as well. Thank you for the motivation every day!

In 2013 my first competition I placed second in the heavy weight division of bodybuilding. In 2014 in the same competition versus double the amount of competitors I placed 2nd again. I wasn’t disappointed I made improvements and hope to win my next competition in 2015-16.
